Each year, the Cherokee County Educational Foundation holds the On the Road With CCEF contest to celebrate how far and wide around the globe our annual t-shirts travel. Contestants take pictures wearing their shirts during their summer vacations, and we have seen entries from as far away as Thailand and Queensland, Australia. It has been a pleasure to be part of these travels, and we enjoy sharing these photos and travels with our community through articles, on our website, and in social media posts. However, this year looks a little different.
The At Home with CCEF campaign encourages creative and fun posts featuring the CCEF annual t-shirt campaign. In light of the ongoing pandemic and changes in the way our families work and travel, we have opted to alter the format of our contest this year, and celebrate the community wearing their CCEF shirts around their home, or on travels and trips with a much more local and safety-oriented flair.
Here's what you need to know:
- Submissions for At Home with CCEF can be submitted here until September 4th.
- Voting will take place from September 5th - October 2nd.
- We will announce the contest winner on Friday, October 2nd.
Our contestants will be encouraged to share the posts and encourage votes for their submission. The winner will receive a $300.00 gift card to use in their classroom!
Though it may look different from past years, adaptability is the name of the game and we're excited to try a new spin on our tradition. Get creative, have fun, and stay safe!
