Good morning to all the Chick-fil-A Moo've It 5K entrants! Due to the coronavirus, we are not able to hold an in-person race at Etowah River Park this year. Instead, we have converted the event to a Race in Place/virtual run. The feature event will be a 30-minute "Moo've It 5K Show" this Saturday morning at 8:00. During this 30-minute event, we will have videos and pictures that runners, walkers, couch potatoes, etc. have submitted. Additionally, we will have segments devoted to recognizing our sponsors and beneficiaries as well as overall and age group awards announcements. All 500+ entrants will have their name entered into the "barrel" and at race time we start drawing the cards - the 1st card drawn is the overall winner, 2nd card drawn is 2nd overall, etc...all the way to the last card. Complete results will be carried on the CFA Moo've It 5K website and at ITS YOUR RACE after the completion of the show.
While we realize we will all miss out on the personal experience of race day activities, we feel this is the best option available to us in our effort to keep everyone safe. We hope you'll join us on Saturday morning. Awards for those announced on Saturday morning as well as the shirts/race packet for those who were unable to pick them up this past weekend will be available for pickup on Tuesday afternoon, 8/18, from 3 - 6:00 p.m. at the Chick Fil A Dwarf House on Highway 92 in Woodstock.
